1 - Hilo, Hawaii - I took a summer course in volcanology at the University of Hawaii at Hilo back in 2001. Hilo is on the eastern side of the big island and it is lush and beautiful. I will never forget the smell of ginger flowers and hibiscus. I would love to visit again just to take in all the beauty
2 - Los Angeles, California - I lived in LA for 10 years and haven't been back since. I would love to see how they renovated the Griffith Observatory (I worked there 5 years and was on the planning committee for the renovation). I want to stand on the beach again and listen to the waves. But most of all I want to visit with my friends who still live there.
3 - Portland, Oregon - I have a friend who lives just outside Portland and I would love to have her show me the Oregon coast, the tulip festival, and all the other wonders of the area.
4 - London, England - I want to ride a double- decker bus and see buildings that are more than 200 years old. There is so much history there.
5 - Kyoto, Japan - I have always been fascinate by Japanese culture and I would love to see the cherry blossoms and Shinto shrines.
